COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Hearth Division is considered one of three southern Michigan hearth departments who shall be receiving new security tools this fall, because of Rewarding Responders grants which were awarded by Michigan Fuel Utilities.
The grant for the Coldwater Hearth Division shall be used to buy new firefighting nozzles.
Different grants had been awarded to the Hillsdale Metropolis Hearth Division and the Dundee Township Hearth Division.

Coldwater Hearth Chief Dave Schmaltz says “we’re extremely happy to obtain this grant, as it’ll permit us to buy tools that usually wouldn’t have been coated by our price range”.
